Marvin Lewis remains Bengals coach

The office does not change significantly. The Cincinnati Bengals will continue to cool in practice. Even with all that Marvin Lewis decided to stay.NFL jerseys.

Lewis agreed to a contract extension Tuesday that the coaches have more time indefinitely in the club's history. Owner Mike Brown has agreed to changes in the coaching staff and listed as part of an agreement that left both sides with ease.

The Bengals have just one season 4-12 and had only two winning records over the last 20 years - Lewis, 60-69-1 in eight seasons, is including losses in two playoff appearances.

Lewis wanted to stay, but only if it changes how the team works. The team initially offered an extension last season, when the Bengals were on track to win the AFC North title.Click here to link Wholesale NFL jerseys.

The trainer and the owner met Monday and talked about what Lewis needed to stay. They had more discussion on the morning of Tuesday and a deal in the afternoon.

The agreement came shortly after the conversation between Lewis and the team has a significant disadvantage Clock Tuesday, a team source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

When you consider all things, forward, and I think this is right place for me,  said Lewis.  I'm not happy where we are. It's not over. I came here to do a certain thing, and we're not done yet. I felt me so.

Brown said the uncertainty over the collective agreement was a factor but not a big problem in their desire to keep Lewis. He suggested, however, was that the extension for at least two years is not more specific.

And I said, I think we'll have a better year next year and could get more than the very fast,  Brown said.

Lewis exceed franchise founder Paul Brown and Sam Wyche for possession of more training. 69 Lewis lost more than any Bengals coach - one more than Wyche, the Bengals led to a Super Bowl during the season 1988th

Wyche and Brown had a confrontation that led to the change after the 1991 season. The relationship between Lewis and Brown are friendly.

I want to emphasize that there is little difference between us ever,  Brown said.  We talked about things. We have some difficult conversations. Sometimes it may even be a little fragile. But we are working with them and come to conclusions.

Brown said it will change in the Department of exploration - the smallest in the NFL - and other front-office operations. He also said that a training course not an immediate priority. The Bengals are the only team carried out without much of northern or planned.

The Bengals have the right to open training camp next to Paul Brown Stadium to cover, but would have to pay for it. Instead, the Bengals went to the bus and a football field, their playoff game against the Jets last season practice.

This is not the first time that Brown has held a trainer come out of a dismal season. He gave Dave Shula a two-year extension in 1993, when the Bengals are finished the season 3-13 presented as a reference for franchise futility - until this season.

As the team 93, the 2010 Bengals 10 consecutive games, have lost the franchise record. Unlike the team of 93 he had great talent and high expectations.

Cincinnati won the AFC North last season when Lewis won the Coach of the Year. The Bengals kept intact and included the core team receiver Terrell Owens, hoping to repeat as division champion for the first time in franchise history.

Instead, the offense broke. Owens blame the coaching staff for much of the problem. The Bengals have exhausted their last four home games.

It is probably at least a significant change in the coaching staff. The offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski has his 10th closed season in Cincinnati and could not fight the guilt for the crimes of.

Bring Lewis is the first of many important decisions the Bengals in the off season. Owens and running back Cedric Benson are free agents.
The team has also been a year and $ 6,000,000 contract option on Chad Ochocinco, the best receiver in franchise history.
