Arlington, Texas - The Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo, quarterback left the game Monday night against the New York Giants in the second quarter with a broken left collarbone and will not return.
Romo was hurt with 0:07 to play in the second quarter after completing a pass to receiver Miles Austin. Romo was beaten by the Giants weak side linebacker Michael Boley, who came in a bombardment.
Romo left shoulder crashed into the turf and knocked to the ground Boley.
Romo tried to return to play the game with about 11.18, but trainer Britt Brown partner pulled him back and he gradually approached the bank.
Surrounded by many coaches and team doctors, Romo was taken into the cabin for further investigation.
Romo has taken every game last season and the Cowboys had every year until Monday.
If Romo misses a long time, the first time since 2008, when he suffered a broken finger and missed three games.
