Autopsy: Lorenzen Wright shot 5 times



Former NBA player Lorenzen Wright died in late July after being shot at least five times, an autopsy report released Wednesday.



Bullet fragments in his skull Wright, chest and right forearm have been made, five shots, the Coroner's report showed. The report does not exclude the possibility of an additional body with gunshot wounds in a forest on the outskirts of Memphis on the 28th July found.

Wright, 34, had been missing for 10 days, was found as his body. There were no arrests in the months since the murder and the Memphis Police have no motive or suspects have been offered.

The autopsy, which was first of WMC-TV, made by the authorities in Shelby County, which encompasses Memphis. The report said the body was decomposed heavy and weighed 57 pounds when found. The weight of the 6-foot-11 Wright to play around 225 pounds.

The report does not indicate when Wright was killed, or when he died.

Wright's mother, Deborah Marion, told the Associated Press they do not see in the report.

I just want to remind that he live in an area, not fired,  Marion said in a telephone interview on Wednesday.

Wright, 6-foot-11 player at the center for five teams during his NBA career of 13 years. He averaged eight points and 6.3 rebounds in 779 career games in the NBA playing for the duration of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2008-09 season.

Wright had lived in Smyrna, Georgia, but his six children were often in Memphis and had closely with the city. He went to high school in Memphis, graduated from the University of Memphis and played for the Memphis Grizzlies. The Memphis City Council last month approved a $ 5,000 reward for information on the sentencing of the murderer or murderers of Wright.

Wright's ex-wife told investigators he saw Wright Sherra her ex-husband on the night of the 18th July. A few hours later, police dispatchers received a 911 call from cell phone and heard Wright sounds like shots before the appeal is dismissed.

Marion said he believed her son's body remained in the forest at a given time dispatchers in the suburbs of Memphis German Town took the call beginning July 1919.

Dispatchers said they were not alerted patrol officers or commanders of the appeal, and he could not confirm it was their responsibility. Friends and Family of the Wright threw the reluctant authorities within days of Wright was lost.

Marion said he hopes for an arrest before the winter holidays to make.

I want to be settled before Christmas because he has six children,  said Marion.  It would be a great Christmas gift for his six children.
